Aquaponic Gardening

A Community and Forum For Aquaponic Gardeners

Hello,

I am getting ready to do a fish less cycle on my new system.

  • 300 gallon fish tank
  • 275 gallon  sump
  • 6 - 135 gallon grow beds (before adding gravel)

My city water is treated with Chloramine. I purchased some ClorAm-X® but I'm hesitant to use it because of all the negative comments/concerns I've read on various sites.

  1. Does anyone have any experience using this stuff?
  2. What were the results?
  3. When do I use it if I were to use it?
  4. And finally, how do I use it? The directions on the container are confusing and not very clear.

Thanks,

Dan
