Aquaponics with Seaweed

Can the salt water fish live within the tank with the seaweed in aquaponics system?

There shouldn't be any problem as long as you factor in the fish type and density and the type of seaweed that you are going to use. do you know how heavy a feeder the seaweed is? what type of fish are you going to use, are they omnivores or carnivores?
