Aquaponics system layout ideas

Hi all,

 

lets help each other to improve system's and and grow larger...

what system should i start with?

commircial setup layout?

how can upgrade?

I had A bulk head failure in one of my IBC tote Grow Beds.  I cut the bottom out of a 5 gallon bucket and pushed the bucket down into the hydrocon and removed the hydrocon from the inside of the bucket.  This gave me access to work on the bulkhead.  I did destroy some roots in the process, but it did work very well.

Good trick there Jonathan, and handy for anyone who did not install a gravel guard and later decides they need to.  Now much easier to do with expanded clay than with most other media but probably better than totally emptying the bed.
