<p>The algae in the grow beds is normal. Where ever there is nutrient rich water and light it will grow. You should have the top 1-2 inches of your media dry so algae does not use up your nutrients. As for water, you should be loosing only about 2% of your water each day to evaporation so you must have a leak if you are losing it all.</p>
