Hello again!
Seeking advise on which local Seaweed extract product; available in my country is suitable for Aquaponics Systems, especially if its contents are safe for the fish.
I have 2 candidates and the first one (VegeGrow) has provided a detailed list of the composition in their formula and I am wondering if I can use this as an All-in-One solution for any of my nutrient deficiency needs? Chelated Iron is Impossible to find over here.
Below are the links for info on my local seaweed extract products:
1. Vegegrow (Liking the looks of this product) : http://vegegrow.blogspot.com/p/our-product.html
2. D.I Grow : http://di2u.com.my/en/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&am...
Many Thanks!

I'd say go for the vegegrow...the NPK values seem low enough and the trace metals content (things that would be potentially harmful to fish) is 'much' lower than MaxiCrop, would is used quite regularly by many Aquapons...But this is with the understanding that the trace element content is the same in their kelp meal as the powdered soluable and liquid extracts. I've read that it is, but you could shoot the company an e-mail to confirm that this is so...which would be wise of you...as it may or may not be a marketing blurb from some distributor...
Here is the trace element analysis for MaxiCrop on the off chance that you or anyone is interested...http://cdn.arbico-organics.com/downloads/maxicrop-kelp-analysis.pdf
Parts per million (ppm) to percent conversion is:
1 ppm = 1/1,000,000 = 0.000001 = 0.0001%
or use this converter...
So say maxicrops zinc content is listed as 0.003516%....which is 35.16ppm
copper is 0.000635....which is 6.35 ppm and so forth
(all maxicrops numbers are given in percentages, while vegegrow's are in ppm, but it's a pretty easy conversion, so you can compare)...
Good luck
