Event Description

Nelson and Pade, Inc.’s Aquaponics 101 Workshop is a great way to spend a day learning about aquaponics! If you’ve just learned about aquaponics and aren’t sure if you want to be a hobbyist, a commercial grower or somewhere in-between, this workshop will help you decide. The classroom session covers a broad range of topics including history, application, methods and benefits of aquaponics and an introduction to greenhouses and environmental control. Afternoon sessions give the attendees the opportunity to see and learn about the various aquaponic systems in the greenhouse and what it takes to operate them on a daily basis.
