The box contains the timer for the water pump and a small air pump. I have made the system run on pennies a day by running the 7w air pump 24/7 and turning on the 25w water pump 15 minutes an hour. This is my simplified version of barrelponics without all the moving parts.

Chris excellent craftmanship. Is that a time and air pump in the plastic box.
