The truth is you don't make any money growing vegetables.  To make money  you have to sell the vegetables.  At least 80% of a commercial aquaponic farm business has basically nothing to do with aquaponics.  So instead of talking about commercial aquaponics, I want this group to be about selling produce.See More

Well, better now then later. The property owner doesnt want a hoop house here.So my plans are in stasis. Until I find another.Meanwhile I am going to clear my present tanks, and just store them in place, a half dozen large aquaria, in use and another half dozen smaller in storage.  The larger job is the garage/shop which is full of equipment, lumber and green wood. Built semi commercial systems in Israel, did a grad project UOS mid 70s on closed system intensive culture of Tilapia using Water Hyacinth in grow out tanks. Now planning several home systems for move to upstate NY.
Please tell us something else about yourself.
life long farmer, archer, bowyer and deer hunter, grew up on dairy farm, long time interest in endangered minor breeds of livestock and fish species in trouble.
