COSTS OF BUILDING A BASIC AQUAPONIC FARM???

You are putting the cart before the horse. Starting a commercial aquaponics operation is OK if you have unlimited cash and prefer going commercial instead of a weekend in Las Vagas. Consider it about the same odds of success, but quicker, You could have a lot more fun in Vegas!

If you are serious, plan at least five years of backyard aquaponics for educational purposes. Then think of slow expansion to commercial production. Guru Murray Hallam started with the PVC pipe system in a commercial operation in Australia. He is now ripping out the pipe system and installing media filled grow beds with Bell Siphons, a very expensive change-over because of temperature problems with the pipe system.

Send me an email address that can receive over 10 MB of attachments and I will send you a collection of references to dozens of experienced aquaponics users that have shared their experience. It could save you a year off the five mentioned above.
