Well, damn. Bummer about the thread being deleted! I am learning how to back up and restore threads on this site, but... not quite there yet.
If you can figure out how to bag expanded shale, at a price that kick's Hydroton's butt, I'll be the first in line to put it on my website. Always seemed crazy to me that we were importing media from Germany.
Like'n the "puff" thing. Implies lightweight. How about GroPuff?
Hi Paul. I just went in to see what the latest scoop is in the expanded shale world and I can't find the topic! Did you delete it for some reason? There was another interesting one you started about a bio-filter but I'm not seeing that either. Wassup?

There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
A great place to start is to read the “How to Use This Site” link on the upper right corner, “Start Here” section of the Main page. You might also find the “Aquaponic Gardening Rules of Thumb” guidelines helpful.
