Please tell us something else about yourself.: I founded a non profit agency working with gang members in Miami (PanZOu Project, Inc.). We provide prevention, intervention, and re-entry services to gang involved/high risk youth ages 8-24. We recently opened a social enterprise - a screen printing & embroidery shop to be able to hire and provide job training to transitioning gang members and ex-offenders.

I recently learned about aquaponics and am trying to educate myself about this exciting field! I want to see if we can integrate this into our charity work!!

At 7:54am on December 5, 2011, chuck said…: im in hollywood too and have been wondering how to start to use all the empty lots around to benifit the comunity the homles shelter is a few blocks from my house and i have thought that a partnership is very posible. also land that is used for agriculter is in a lower tax catigory so geting people to lend the lots is in there interest. if you want to see my setup come by and meet the family. clay ps happy b day

There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to get in there and start asking questions. Everyone is quite happy to help out new members – no question is too basic.
