Not sure what is doing this

Something is eating the leaves on my ghost pepper plant. It seems to eat all of the leaf except the center vein which it cuts. Not finding much on Google, was hoping someone has seen this before. I'm in Fort Lauderdale with cool (70-80) breezy but humid weather lately if that helps narrow it down.See More

"If ammonia goes down to none, you must be cycled.  In my experience, it's not unusual to see 0 nitrite in a cycled system.  Low nitrate can mean that the plants are taking it all up but testing none is odd. If your ammonia was falling…"

Still no results for weeks. Tried boosting to 4ppm and 5ppm  but still no results. Ammonia keeps falling and so does Ph. South forida system so temperatures are in the mid-70's to mid 80's. "1 tbs per gal.   You might might want to get potassium bicarb suggested by Ryan, too.  That along with calcium hydroxide is what I use to raise PH."
