I'm an avid Cichlid fan looking to provide my family with healthy foods raised in a responsible manner. After reading "Ecology of the Planted Aquarium" a few years ago I decided to integrate more live plants into my aquariums, and after succeeding there I ran across Aquaponics. It just makes sense!

I'm currently planning my first AP system and researching as much as I can (I live in a rental and won't be building it until I move into a home I own soon). I just read "Aquaponic Gardening: A Step-By-Step Guide to Raising Vegetables and Fish Together" and I'm looking for a community where I can share my successes and failures and learn from others successes and failures.
