Please tell us something else about yourself.: My wife and I are working to convert our home (a 3,000 sq.ft. 5-level backsplit) into a self-sufficient housing pilot program.

The goal is to house 15-30 homeless youth and seniors in a collective living environment, teaching DIY techniques for self-sufficient living. This will include rammed earth building & retrofits; low-cost renewable heating, cooling, and energy; water and waste reclamation; tin, glass, and paper and plastic recycling, and permaculture, integrating systems of animals and growing food (Vermi-Aero-Aqua-Hydro-Ponics)
