Like most, I'm new to aquaponics, I live in the lakes region of NH (Milton Mills). I am a self employed contractor, mostly landscape construction, but I enjoy building in general. I was exploring hydroponics systems, but as soon as I stumbled upon aquaponics, its all I think about. right now I'm just trying to put a simple raft system together (inside) trying to get the kids interested, so that come spring we'll be ready to go, I hve an IBC tank almost ready to go, just waiting for warmer weather..... I'm really hoping to find a seminar, workshop to attend sometime this winter....do you know of any? Look forward to meeting everyone online.

Hi Garrett,

I heat the dome just enough to keep the system running...usually in the 55-60 range for the water.  I'm growing Koi and a few goldfish.  It's quite humid in there but when I'm running the heater, it helps to reduce the humidity.

Heating is always a problem, especially in the north.  It can add up quickly.  ;-)
