Please tell us something else about yourself.: I'm a long time permaculturist;having established Gaia permaculture on my rural 14 acre homestead in the west central part of Georgia.As well developing an "Integral Urban Sustainable House" on 1/2 acre,and in historic block cottage in the Columbus/fort Benning area.I will be teaching urban farming and permaculture from this dwelling.
On the rural homestead I grow various plant systems,IE,Kaki persimmons,Indian peach,Mulberry,Eleagnus,Satsuma oranges,fig,Natural colored cotton,and various nitrogen fixing trees,etc. I have a few down slope fish pools;with one finished that has mosquito fish,bull frogs,and many many bullhead cat fish fingerlings!When I set up my aquaponic system within the urban house, I will be growing the bullheads,as they are more hardy,and I started them free from catches that was made in the local area,and that had babies!
