Colder than Billy Bejiggered outside.  The Tilapia are all comfortable at 85 degrees inside.  Eating Aqua Max like the pigs they are.  Cooked up some Tilapia cat food for the babies.  They both like a touch of garlic in it.

Can't sell because it is too cold to ship.  My pure strain golden O. Mossambicus from Africa are not yet old enough to breed.  But I've got males!  Males are what you need for your colonies to get females to breed with the T. Hornorum to make those all male big boys for extra meat production.

Going to be having Huck's improved McDonald's fish egg jars for sale after the first of the year.  Just plug into your aeration line and you are in business.  Best of all they will be cheap to buy.

My new 6 - IBC grow out tank system is about done.  The insulation is under the IBCs.  Now I have to wrap each IBC and filter barrel with insulation.  Ridged insulation goes over the top of the IBCs and filter barrel.  The barrels are 2 - media, 1 - lava rock and 1 - sump.  The sump has a 2,000 gph pump and that white PVC is a 4000 watt heater.  All IBCs and barrels are aerated.
