This is a place to both share good experiences we have with aquaponics vendors, and the bad and downright ugly experiences we have had.

Guidelines

In an effort to keep the tone in here as positive as the tone in rest of the community I'd like to propose a few guidelines.

"The Good"

Please describe your experience with whomever you are recommending. Why are they "good"? Did they exceed your expectations? Have they taken on altruistic initiatives?
Please do not comment on your own company, or a company you are directly affiliated with, unless directly asked a question or you fee the need to defend yourself

"The Bad and the Ugly"

Please only comment on companies that you have direct experience with. The exception to this can be providing a link to comments others have made.
Keep in mind that the reason for doing this is not revenge, but rather to give a "heads up" to others. Keep your comments as fact-based as possible, e.g. leave name calling and cursing out of it.

Thanks, everyone, for following these guidelines. I reserve the right to delete any comment that doesn't follow these guidelines... so don't make me do it

Comment by Dave Howe on January 24, 2012 at 6:59pm: It doesn't get any worse than this. I am sad to report that nearly every plant in my basement is dead or dying due to an infestation of white fly. Strawberries however seem to be Okay. Not sure where they all came from. More than likely last fall when I rolled the dice and moved a couple of my tomatoe plants inside. They sure took a long time to get to the numbers they are at now. They are just devestating. Ordered some sticky yellow traps but I think the damage is done. Can't post piks..... to gruesome for the sqeemish in our groups.....Guess I'll start over.....

I have no personal experience with retailers and suppliers of Aquaponics and Hydroponics in the USA or Australia. Subscribers to this forum given time will I believe obtain a reputable and informative database. Regards JohnNZ
