Vapor Bond Tape For Taping Seams

Has anybody ever used this stuff for taping seams of Dura Skrim? I'm building a new raft bed and I would love to use some leftover 6' wide liner that I have on hand, but it's not quite wide enough for the height that I'd like to build it. I'd like to lay two sheets sideways and tape them together.
