Hello fellow aquapons! I loved using this forum back several years ago and want to see it flourish again. That being said, where have you all been? Where are you discussing aquaponics now?

Facebook groups? Other forums? Let me know. I want to join the conversations where they are happening.

Thank you all in advance.

Hi everybody!
We are Damian Lencina and Martin Garrammone, two biologists from Argentina. We love aquaponics and we want to start the first Aquaponic farm in our country. In order to build it we entered a contest for entrepeneurs in which whoever gets more votes wins! That’s why we want to ask for your support! Could you spread the word by publishing this link at your Facebook profile. It’s just a click on that link!(…

Hi guys I have a crowd funding project where I am trying to get funding to make my home food source self sufficient for me and my family. I plan on raising fish and plants in an aquaponics system as well as insects and chickens. You can read about my project here: http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/aquaponics.

Any funding, even £1 will be most grateful.

Thanks :)

All of us here at Aquaponics Gardening are here because we want to grow our own safe foods.

I recently came across a company that is spreading the word to get big name companies to remove toxins and harmful chemicals from their products. If enough people get educated about this and start buying safer products we can force these manufacturers to make a change for the better.

This company offers to pay people to spread the word about buying and using safe products. Please have a look at this website and consider becoming a member and share this information to support this great cause. The website is www.toxicfreeforall.com BTW their products are amazing and because their are no harmful chemicals they can be used to clean our Aquaponics systems etc...

Has anyone ever been to Will Allen's Growing Power workshops in Milwaukee? I'm considering going, just have to be able to take the time off of work. I'm just looking for feedback, positive or negative, so that I can determine if it's worth the drive and time off of work. Also looking for feedback on the workshop at the University of Virgin Islands. That's something I think I'd have to make a vacation out of seeing as it's so far away from Chicago.

I've been finding that as this site grows, and the demands of my work grow as well, I am no longer able to keep up with all the activity in here! It is time to pull together a group of moderators to be my team of advisors, to keep an eye out for spammers, and to make sure that the conversations here stay respectful. I'm looking for active members who are really dedicated to the ideals of this community. I've already invited TCLynx and Jon Parr to become moderators, and they have both…
